    Best pick for single family Montreal vs. Calgary Vs. Vancouver and why? well It all depends on what your budget. Vancouver is not a cheap place to live, house are very expensive and cost of living is high.  Montreal would be the second cheapest place to live out of the three but you would need to speak french. Calgary is cheaper than vancouver and Montreal and it does have a very good community sense.  If money is not an issue, best place would be Vancouver.
